me

I'm Eva, a vessel that appears to be humanoid of the feminine quality. Some call me Bug, which was a nickname I was hesitant with due to past interactions with another that shared the same name, but I've let that pass now. Still, I do prefer you call me Eva, or even Bugwatcher. I live in Malaysia and have yet to be of legal drinking age. I don't really consider myself a robot, contrary to popular belief. At most, a cyborg.

I have no goal in life, I want to fuck around till death takes me basically ^_^ that fucking around involves art of all kinds, made mostly for free or at most very little cost. As I've said before I run a collaborative world-buidling project, the Trenchkin Research Institute, but I'm also interested in delving into game development of the multiplayer kind.

the website, and why

It's a common story of most webmasters, that social media is too corporate, too controlling. But I personally couldn't get used to most social media sites from the beginning, no matter how corporate or not, no matter how much I tried. And the social media I was used to wasn't healthy for me - I used to constantly consume needless controversy and engage in heated arguments, and I still have trouble staying out of those now. After some reflection, I've decided to quit or heavily limit my use of social media around the beginning of 2025.

I didn't plan to involve myself much with being a webmaster, I just wanted this site to be a little about me page with contact links at most. Though, times were still tough even as I've left social media behind, so I finally decided to make this website to cope, to write, to draw, to code my feelings out. Not to get too personal, but I've had a history of struggling with my mental state, as well as religous belief, processing reality and personal identity, so themes of those will be present in the more personal sections of the site. I'll just try my best to not have the stuff here get too personal or dangerous, but my art gallery and blog may not be a comfortable viewing experience for some. I'm still trying to get used to talking to strangers on the internet. It still feels weird having a guestbook and contact email up.

By the way, this website is for myself, first and foremost. It's my own method of self-expression, and if you do not like that you see, you're free to find other things of your interest. This isn't to be rash, it's just that I've had people be involved with my content even though it clearly isn't what makes them comfortable, so I really have to make this clear. There's so many other better things for you, you don't have to be invested in what discomforts you.
